This is my final installment for our 111th Penn Central Car Movement series (PCCM) also known as our "virtual ops" between John's New York Central Train Layout , Neal's Atlantic Pacific R.R. , and my Kings Port Division.
Its up to the Kings Port & Western to finish delivering the remaining PCCM cars on my layout. We'll start at Williams Yard where a WiBi-4 (Williams Yard to Binghamton) transfer run is getting ready to go. The train will stop at West Mill to pick up four additional cars.
The four cars to be picked up include two short open hoppers to forward to the Lehigh Valley for coal loading, the Corning covered hopper which is full of silica sand for its home company, and PC #360063 loaded with food packaging materials from C&P Restaurant Supplies for Cavendish Foods.
The FA-B-A set uncouples from its train to make the pick up.
Watch the action in the video below!
The WiBi-4 receives permission to proceed to Binghamton
Follow the train's departure from West Mill and arrival at the KP&W's CS Yard in Binghamton in the video below. There were no drones in the 1970s so the film of the end of WiBi-4 leaving town was taken from a nearby hillside!
After arriving at Binghamton some of the cars are interchanged with the Lehigh Valley R.R. and the Erie Lackawanna which both have yards near the KP&W's CS Yard. The two open hoppers and the empty NIRX #41000 will be taken to Sayre, PA by the LV's Sayre Turn. The hoppers will later be sent to a Pennsylvania coal mine.
The EL sends a daily transfer exchange to CS Yard from its QD Yard. It will take the Corning covered hopper which will later be put on the EL's train NE-5 to Corning.
The rest of the cars from Williams Yard will go out on a KP&W local from CS Yard. These include PC gon #288673 and PC #104478 for Amalgamated Container (ACCO)...PC #3600063 for Cavendish Foods and EBRR # 360279 carrying a cutting machine for International Paper, and two NYC double door boxcars for IBM loaded with wire and electrical harnesses from Bruce Electric.
The KP&W crew for the run boards RS3 #566.
The CS Yard Local gets underway.
The local sets out three 60 foot cars at ACME Auto Parts....
PC #360063 to Cavendish Foods with packaging materials from C&P Restaurant Supplies...
EBRR boxcar #360279 with a cutting machine from Reliable Machine for International Paper Co....
...and to complete the job, two NYC double door boxcars loaded with wires and cable harnesses from Bruce Electric for IBM.
Let's return our attention to Williams Yard in Kings Port where the crew has assembled a two brown boxcar Yard Local to deliver the NYC Early Bird boxcar to Booms Ready Mix loaded with Walsh steel wool, and P&LE boxcar #35892 empty to Blue Ribbon Flour.
A Steel Job to KP Steel is also ready for dispatch with P&LE gon #40331 loaded with scrap for the Basic Oxygen furnace and empty gon EBRR #509823 included in the string of cars. The other gons on this train are nonplayer cars heading to KP Steel.
That concludes my Kings Port Division's part in PCCM 111! I hope you enjoyed following the car movements on all three layouts!

Great closing installment Ralph!!! The KP&W did great on the center stage and Interchange is the word of the day. Your were right about using the EL and LV prototype train IDs and destinations to interchange with the KP&W at Bingo. It added a nice bit of realism to the op. Welcome to the PCCMs EL GP35!!! This was another PCCM HOF installment with new car movements, great photos and videos from the no drone zone and easy to follow train sequences. Put it in the books!!!!

It’s a wrap! Nice work on getting the freight delivered! The video of the work in pre-drone days was nicely done. The new KP&W CS Yard is a great addition to the already heavily loaded KP&W work load. The crew did an outstanding job delivering the freight. I hope AP 9416 will need just minor repairs and get back into revenue service soon.
Great work!
