February 1st marks the 50th anniversary of the beginning of operations on the Penn Central Railroad. I made a video tribute to my HO layout's muse. Hope you get a kick out of it!
The story of my layout featuring the fictional Kings Port Division of the Penn Central and my own freelanced Kings Port & Western Railroad. I'm having fun running DC with a roster that includes 30 year old Athearn and Atlas locos, rolling stock with some refurbished Tyco freight cars in the mix, and structures and scenery built on a budget. Thanks for taking a look!

This is awesome ! Loved the storyline full of historical facts and the "professional" narration. I really enjoyed the beautiful array of PC stock. I can't believe it has been 50 years already. Ouch! This is a very cool tribute to the old Penn Central we know and love. This video is a sure Academy Award winner.
ReplyDeleteTime does go by quickly it seems! Thanks Ed!
DeleteA great documentary about the beginning of the PC and a look at the time period of it's opening day. One of the best PC videos I've seen! A professionally made and narrated film that should be on Public TV! Great work Ralph!!
ReplyDeleteThanks John! Can I use you as a reference when I apply at PBS? :)
