P.C.C.M. 47i: Cars return to West Mill

Hi all,

After going off script and sending cars to the New York Central Train Layout and the Ralston Creek RR out of order of our Rail Traffic Management Form in an effort to quickly showcase some new industries, its time to get things back into order for future Penn Central Car Movements (P.C.C.M.s).  The current 47th series of P.C.C.M.s is nearly finished as the Ralston Creek RR is forwarding cars westward.

See how John gathered and sent back the cars in his latest entry:

And keep an eye open for how Brian is working with cars sent his way:

Cars left John's Terminal Yard on NV-3 and have reached Selkirk Yard.  They were given new power and sent southward to West Mill as Extra #8150

Things are quiet for a short time at Ulster Ave in Kings Port...

...until a trio of GP9s with a recently washed unit still in its PRR livery cross on a caboose hop.

As the trio of early Geeps goes by Extra #8150 overtakes them on the main.

The train is powered by a pair of GP38-2s.

Like the proverbial swallows to Capistrano, all of the cars recently sent to Terminal Yard now return to West Mill.

Extra #8150   arrives at West Mill and slows to enter the yard.

The train comes to a halt and the crew disembarks.

Cars in the yard will be forwarded to their next destinations as designated on the Rail Traffic Management Form, which will be featured in P.C.C.M. #48.  See you again soon!

    Terminal Yard out...

Nice seeing your new GP9 making it's debut in an opening scene cameo. I can watch trains enter and exit West Mill all day with only taking a break to rail fan Kings Port. The virtual ops universe is now spinning properly on it's axis. "Like the proverbial swallows returning to Capistrano all of the cars returned to West Mill" A great quote and a very well done installment Ralph!

    1. Just waxing a little poetic! :) The PRR Geep will be weathered soon but it was time for a debut!

    Rick Ridge Yard Out!

Great work going on at West Mill and Extra 8150. I like when those 'extras' get tossed in as it adds more realism to our moves! Also keeps Cappy Foster on his toes!

    1. Thanks! I like those moves too! Local crewmen often whisper, "'Cappy ain't happy", but it seems best to keep him distracted with work!
