P.C.C.M. 63, Part 6: KP&W train picks up cars from West Mill for final delivery.

Greetings!

Cars set out at West Mill Yard from Neal's Atlantic Pacific R.R.
are now assembled into a block to be interchanged with the Kings Port & Western to transfer to their Mayfield Yard and eventual delivery to their consignees.

West Mill's Yard switcher pulls the cut into a pocket for pick up by a transfer run from Williams Yard to Mayfield.

A couple of hours after the out was set out KP&W's Extra 897 appears for the pick up.

Other "non-player" cars come into view after the virtual ops cut for Mayfield passes by.

The Extra, now including the cars from Rock Ridge, takes the branch for Mayfield

The train arrives at Mayfield Yard.

A short local is dispatched from Mayfield to serve Amalgamated Container where the Empire gon is dropped off for loading...

...while the two corrugated PC gons loaded with steel stock are set out at ACME Auto Parts.

That takes care of the cars from the A.P.R.R. sent to the KPD in this series.   One more installment featuring the rest of the cars forwarded to West Mill.

    Rock Ridge Yard Out!

Nice to see the freight from the APRR getting delivered to their destinations. ACME auto parts will be getting more inbound from the APRR as there are some new industries getting ready to open in Rock Ridge. More profits for all!

    Terminal Yard out...

Another fine job Ralph!! The West Mill Switcher handles the yard chores in fine fashion. The KP&W SD9 and Alco look good getting the cars to their final destinations. Mayfield Yard is looking good and ACCO has become one of my favorite KP&W served industries.
