Here is the last installment of the 66th series of Penn Central Car Movements (P.C.C.M. 66) on the Kings Port Division. The remaining cars in West Mill Yard will be delivered by the Kings Port & Western. Runs to their Mountain Branch, Mayfield Branch, and Corning will finish the work.
We'll start with a run up the Catskills to Bloomberg. P&E #3638 is loaded with drums of ink from Drywell Ink for Catskill Mountain Press.
It is joined by four covered hoppers for Bloomberg's Agway elevator. This string meets the KP&W's minimum requirement for at least five cars to justify a train up the Mountain Branch.
KP&W GP9 #769 is readied for the run.
West Mill's switcher pulls a KP&W caboose from the service track and couples it up to the short train.
It then pulls the cut of cars out of the yard to position it on the mainline for the KP&W Geep to take.
Watch the SW9 pull the cars but stop for a mainline train to Weehawken before proceeding.
After SW9 #8951 places the cars on the main, KP&W GP9 #769 moves out of the engine track to couple up to its train.
The Bloomberg run is ready to get underway
Heading for the Catskills!
An hour later, in one of Bloomberg's industrial parks, the KP&W sets out P&E boxcar #3638 at Catskill Mountain Press.
Moving on to Agway, the remaining four cars on this run are set out.
Back at West Mill the SW9 gets to work once more setting cars up for the KP&W. These two gons of steel stock are for ACME Auto Parts.
G&MO boxcar #21129 is loaded with electrical components for Peerless Appliance
These cars will be forwarded to Mayfield on the next KP&W "turn" that arrives at West Mill.
Extra #110 from Mayfield arrives with a pair of F7As, drops cars off at West Mill and picks up others for the trip back.
The cars for Peerless Appliance and ACME are picked up.
Extra #110 heads out of West Mill.
The cars arrive at Mayfield Yard later in the day. They will be sorted into a local to deliver the cars.
Two gons are set out at ACME Auto Parts....
...and G&MO 21129 is left at Peerless Appliance.
There are two more bits of work in this series on the KPD. First is to forward KP&W #445052 loaded with silica sand to Corning Glass. It is set out for the next KP&W Williams Yard to Binghamton transfer.
The next day the PS2 hopper finds itself at Corning Glass.
Finally, Canton Box Co. calls the West Mill Agent to inform him that they have unloaded PC 104478 and are ready for NYC 80775.
The exchange completed, SW9 8951 brings the empty PC boxcar back to West Mill Yard. It will soon be set out at nearby GERN when their siding is clear.
That concludes the KPD's involvement in this series. Check out the action on John's N.Y.C.T.L. and Neal's A.P.R.R.

Terminal Yard out...
A fine concluding installment Ralph!! Nice job wrapping up all the moves needed by the KP&W and the final run out of West Mill to deliver NYC #80775 to Canton Box. KP&W F7s were a nice treat as was the PC runby with the three F units. Well Done!!

Rock Ridge Yard Out!
It's a wrap (and a lengthy one I might add)! There's so much going on, you really have to look a couple time to digest all of it. I still favor the delivery to Agway, as well as the run to Acme Auto Parts and Peerless Appliances. They look so realistic, you did a great job on those industries!
