PCCM 103: Part 3 on the KPD

 Hello,

We're continuing our 103rd Penn Central Car Movements (PCCMs)  between John's New York Central Train Layout, Neal's Atlantic Pacific R.R., and my own Kings Port Division.   Cars were forwarded to Neal's APRR in yesterday's installment.  Today we'll send cars to Selkirk for eventual forwarding to John's N.Y.C.T.L.

At West Mill SW9 #8951 is assembling the next train to Selkirk.

PC #360063 is loaded with Cavendish Foods packaged meals for Ralph's Grocery Warehouse.  PC #360158 is carrying console TVs from Zenith for Superior Furniture.

Three Gulf tankers of diesel fuel are heading to Terminal Yard's engine facility.

Two orange Evan's steel coil coaches are for Ford in Bedford Park while three green coaches are for Gervais Pipe and Fittings.

Six empty hoppers from KP Steel for Hudson Coal...

....and six hoppers loaded with Hedberg Aggregates for the NYS DOT Region #10 thruway project.

The assembled train gets its Penn Central power (U33C #6554 & GP38-2 #8045) and then leaves West Mill as WmV-5 for Selkirk.

The train will arrive at Selkirk Yard in about an hour and a half.

Here at Selkirk a couple of PCCM cars, LV #66393 and BAR #5226, await forwarding to Mechanicville where they can continue their way into New England.

WmV-5 arrives at Selkirk!

The cars will be humped and reassembled as a train for Terminal Yard.  Check John's blog to see how he organizes this move!  Come back next weekend as we resume our virtual ops with inbound trains frm each other's layouts!
